Watch Pandemonium in Court as DSS Move to Re-Arrest Sowore and Bakare

Officers of the Department of State Services (DSS) on Friday morning disrupted Court proceedings at Abuja High Court for the ongoing trial of activists Omoyele Sowore and Olawale Bakare of the ‘Revolution Now’ movement in their bid to rearrest the two men.

This comes barely 24 hours after both men were released from detention on Thursday evening, following Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu of the Federal High Court in Abuja expressed displeasure over their continued detention by the security agency.

According to Sahara Reporters, the DSS operatives also chased away the presiding judge, Justice Ojukwu while also brutalising Olawale, a female Channels TV Court Judiciary Correspondent who was taking a photo of them dragging Sowore.

There is currently an ongoing standoff inside the court premises as the DSS officers are refusing to allow Sowore and his lawyers to come out of the place.
