The Root Hub Expands Operations to Port-Harcourt, Holds Free Digital Skills Training


The RootHub has expanded its operations and launched its hub and co-working space in Port-Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

Operations took off Monday 9th September 2019, at its Maxxy Plaza office, SARS Road (opposite Big Treat) Rukpokwu, Port Harcourt, with the Hub’s signature free digital skills training programme, #Tech101.


The Root Hub’s Port-Harcourt team at the ongoing two weeks programme is sharing insights and skills with vibrant young people desirous of equipping themselves and creating a lasting impact in the community through the training which includes web development(programming/coding), graphics design & digital marketing.

This expansion further stamps their feet on the ground as a force to reckon with, while reaffirming their commitment in terms of driving tech, business and innovation in Southern Nigeria.


Headquartered in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, The Root Hub started 5 years ago in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State Capital as a co-working and business accelerator system, through a partnership with Google is at the forefront of digital literacy in the Niger Delta region.
