The once non-functioning Akwa Ibom digital library, the Ibom E-Library has been reopened for business and repositioned for maximum productivity by a new management company, HTG Consult.

The magnificent facility which is located along IBB Way, Uyo, was shut down for about some weeks to allow for renovation work has been restored to perform at its optimal capacity following a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) arrangement between HTG and Akwa Ibom State Government over the management of the Library.

Opened between the hours of 8 am to 6 pm on Mondays to Fridays and 9 am to 5 pm on Saturdays, Ibom E-library now functions optimally with 24hr power supply, hi-speed internet, manned by efficient staff, secured by top-notch security personnel.

Ibom E-Library has fully-air-conditioned and beautifully furnished co-working spaces, single/double office spaces, boardrooms to-let, Computer-based Tests (CBT) Centre, plus a 300-seater state-of-the-art amphitheatre styled conference hall for events.
