Super Eagles and Leicester City striker, Kelechi Iheanacho has expressed optimism that the Foxes might clinch the English Premier League title for the 2021/2022 season.
Iheanacho aka ‘Senior Man’ who was the playmaker for the team in the last season and scoring 19 times for the former champions, says his team needs to do more and remain focused on their games.
“Obviously, I scored goals last season. I think, this season, we really need to do more and focus on our games. I have a good feeling that this season, it might fall for us and we will get what we want. As I said before, we need to concentrate and focus on the games, one after the other and hopefully, we will get there in the end.
“I pray for more goals, but most importantly, more wins and more points,” Iheanacho told the club’s official portal on Monday.
Leicester City bagged the English FA Cup trophy after losing out on the EPL and Europa League, as they narrowly missed out on qualifying for the Champions League.
