Twitter Naija Takes Fela to Number 1 Spot on RockHall of Fame Induction Poll

Twitter NG is at it again, this time taking on the votes of Rockhall 2021, after the nominees which include Afrobeat legend, Fela Anikulapo Kuti was announced for the induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on February 10, 2021.

The rise of Fela to the number one position on the list in less than 24hours came after several tweets sprung up on Twitter, stirring up Nigerians to vote and take Fela to number one. True to nature, Twitter NG came through and took the artiste to the number one spot.

Other nominees vying for the number one position are Mary J. Blige, Kate Bush, Devo, Foo Fighters, The Go-Go’s, Iron Maiden, Jay-Z, Chaka Khan, Carole King, LL Cool J, New York Dolls, Rage Against the Machine, Todd Rundgren, Tina Turner, Dionne Warwick.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame was established in 1983 and is dedicated to the history of some of the best-known and most influential musicians, bands, producers, and others who have in some way influenced the music industry, particularly in the area of rock and roll.
