A young Nigerian marketing expert, Edidiong Ekong has said that when brands are embarking on an online marketing campaign, it is important to note not all influencers can fit into it every campaign project.
Mr Ekong who is the Marketing Manager at Boomplay – the biggest and fastest-growing music app in Africa, shared this insight recently on when he was guest on the #CodekagoZeroHour a tweet conversation hosted on the micro-blogging platform, Twitter.
“Every campaign is different and has different goals, objectives, intensity, frequency and expected results. As a standard, I look for the best fit in terms of acceptance, niche and results. Not all influencers can fit into every campaign, he stated.
The polymath added that every campaign is unique and the spend varies depending on nature and dynamics on the campaign, thus selecting the right influencers is key to the success of an influencer marketing campaign.
“Truthfully, working with the right influencers is key to any successful influencer marketing campaign. Since every campaign is different and has different goals, objectives, intensity, frequency and expected results, selecting the right influencers who are relevant, authentic, engaging, and well-matched to your brand values and image will contribute greatly to your campaigns.”
