Nigerian midfielder, John Mikel Obi scored his first goal for Stoke City in his debut pre-season game on Tuesday as they gear up to the 2020-2021 English Championship season.
Stoke City continued their pre-season preparations with a 5-1 victory against Shrewsbury Town at Clayton Wood with Mikel scoring in his first game for his new club.
After going ahead and being pegged back by Shrewsbury Town’s equaliser, Mikel Obi restored Stoke City lead which set them up for a comfortable 5-1 win in a game played behind closed doors.
