Kanye West and longtime friend, Jay Z seems to have reunited, ending their long feud with a collaboration on a track for the latter’s new ‘Donda album, a project which took fans of the rapper by surprise.

The controversial West unveiled his 10th studio album, ‘Donda’ at a mega listening session – in front of the packed crowd at the Mercedes- Benz Stadium in Atlanta, selling out the venue two days after announcing the first public release of his anticipated album.

Unlike West‘s energy concert, he allowed his music to do the talking while attendees applaud at the end of each track of his album, slated to release for a later release. Pulling off the listening session which live-streamed on Apple Music was an impressive feat for West.

Also in attendance was Kanye‘s former wife, Kim Kardashian and her sister, Khloe in the company of their four kids to show support for him.

‘Donda’ named after his mother who died at the age of 58 from plastic surgery complications in 2007, is a gospel themed Hip hop project with his Auto-Tune vocals and tracks featuring his friend and mentor Jay Z. Others on the project include Pop Smoke, Lil Durk, Travis Scott, Baby Keem, Roddy Ricch, Playboy Carti, Vory, Pusha T and more.

After that last collaboration – Ottis from the album ‘Watch the Throne’ in 2011, with its huge success.  Jay Z and West fell out after his marriage to Kim Kardashian in 2014 which the former did not attend. Could this divorce lead to the resolution of friendship between West and Jay Z?
