Otobong Edo, CEO of Maximum Disturbance Entertainment (MDE), a Nigerian talent management company has said that it’s good for anyone doing entertainment business to diversify and have other sources of income.

The MDE boss who is the younger brother of Nollywood star, Ini Edo and whose entertainment outfit manages Ibibio rapper, Ikpa Udo in a conversation with our correspondence at his 04 Grill outlet shortly the lockdown was eased, said diversification of income is the way out of financial stagnation, especially with the current pandemic that has crumbled the global economy and the entertainment business which has been badly hit.

“It is now a necessity of anyone doing entertainment business to diversify their sources of income, considering that the sector has suffered due to the pandemic. It is the only way out to beat the current economic reality we are facing.”

“I didn’t envisage this period when I launched my 04 Grill food business which has turned out to be one of the best things to happen to me this 2020. So while entertainment biz is on the low, my food business is keeping me engaged, even with the lockdown, we make home deliveries and the patronage has been massive.”

Oty as he is fondly referred to on March 19th which happened to be his birthday, launched his food business – 04 Grills in Uyo. It has become the newest sensation and stopover for the best Sharwama, Chicken and Chips Waffles, Pancakes and Chapman drink in the City.
