The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced extension for the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) till August 31st, 2018.
This was made known by the Commission in a statement during its regular meeting on Tuesday. The new date comes after Nigerians had appealed to the election umpire in the country to extend the deadline for the PVC registration.
INEC also states that the exercise will continue in all the designated registration centres every day, including weekends, but excluding public holidays, between 9am and 5pm.
