Anthony Joshua is gearing up to defend his world heavyweight titles against Kubrat Pulev come October 28 at the Principality Stadium, Cardiff.
The British professional boxer will earn around 15 million Euros from the upcoming fight. The 27 year old who dispossessed former WBA champion, Vladimir Klitschko of the WBA title earlier in April to add to his IBF strap, will be fighting in front of a record-breaking crowd of 90,000.
Joshua is very eager to defend his titles. “October 28 can’t come soon enough, I have been eager to get back in the ring since Wembley and now we are confirmed and ready”, he said.
Meanwhile, Pulev who is Joshua’s IBF number one challenger, will get a second crack at becoming a world champion.
The Bulgarian who is also referred to as “the Cobra” had a chance of clinching the IBF belt last November against Vladimir Klistchko.
Pulev claims he will be perfectly ready to take on AJ.
“My preparation will be very intense, and I will be perfectly ready when I enter the ring so that he will have no chance to beat me.”
