After 5 Years in Office, Nigerian Governor Appoints his Chief of Staff

Ephraim Inyang-eyen, former Commissioner for Works and now Chief of Staff to Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr Udom Emmanuel

After 5 years in years in office, the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr Udom Emmanuel has finally appointed his Chief of Staff, Mr Akparawa Ephraim Inyang-eyen.

The appointment was announced on Friday by the Commissioner for Information, Sir Charles Udoh, at the end of the State Executive Council meeting.

Mr Ephraim Inyang who until now was the Commissioner for Works and the first Chief of Staff (CoS) to Governor who hitherto operated without any CoS.

He will also supervise the Works Ministry until a new substantive Commissioner for Works is appointed.
