Ekiti state Governor, Ayodele Fayose on Thursday reiterated his earlier declaration to become Nigeria’s President in 2019.
The Governor spoke while addressing hundreds of women at an event commemorating the 2018 International Women’s Day in the state capital, Ado-Ekiti.
“I want them to hear in the Villa, I will be president of Nigeria tomorrow”, he said.
“Sometimes, it is difficult for people to believe but when it happens, I want you to know that I’ve said so before.”
In September 2017, Fayose had declared his intention to run for the Presidency in 2019.
As it stands, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has zoned its presidential ticket to the North and its national chairmanship to the South ahead of the 2019 general election.
