The senator representing Abia South in the Senate, Senator Eyinnaya Abaribe has been arrested by the State Security Service (SSS)

Senator Eyinnaya Abaribe was arrested today in Abuja at a popular hotel located at Maitama District.

His colleague, Dino Melaye, and his party, PDP, confirmed the arrest in separate interviews

The SSS has no spokesperson to speak on the arrest.
