O’giveR brings a message of motivation and hopes to his fans and everyone in this new single, titled ‘Kámá’.
The word ‘Kámá’ is an Ibibio word for ‘to hold’ as the chorus has him singing “müm idem Kámá” which means “hold yourself and endure”.
For the sound engineer, singer and songwriter, this song is not only a project for him, but to also motivate and strengthen someone out there at the verge of giving up.
“This track is very dear to my heart, I composed and arranged this song amidst trials and challenges, and I did it in honour of my late father whose favourite quote was lyrics from a hymn that says “behind a frowning Providence, He (God) hides a smiling face”, he states.
“This quote has been my motivation year in year out, hence my decision to put it all in a piece of music. It is also my earnest prayer that this message fuels your faith and zeal as you pursue your dreams”, he adds.
