More and more Nigerian entertainers are making their voices heard against the xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in South Africa. For some of them, who include Tiwa Savage and comedian Basket Mouth, it involves sacrificing their work in other to make a strong statement against the killings of their brothers in a foreign country.
The Nigerian Queen of Pop, Tiwa Savage on Twitter said she refuses to watch the barbaric butchering of her people in SA and for reason will not perform at the upcoming DSTV delicious Festival in Johannesburg on the 21st of September.
I refuse to watch the barbaric butchering of my people in SA. This is SICK. For this reason I will NOT be performing at the upcoming DSTV delicious Festival in Johannesburg on the 21st of September. My prayers are with all the victims and families affected by this.

Bright Okpocha aka Basket Mouth has taken his stand and will be boycotting the Comics Choice Awards scheduled to hold this weekend in South Africa.
