On Tuesday, the International Nightlife Association held its 4th World Annual Congress and 3rd Golden Moon Awards Gala in Ibiza, Spain in which the World’s Best 100 Clubs were recognized.
The event saw London and Barcelona receive the Golden Moon Award for the Best Government Supporting the Nightlife Industry and for the Best Awareness Campaign respectively.
Meanwhile, Salvador Vilanova, President of the Bars, Restaurants and Nightlife Association of Barcelona, collected the Golden Moon Award for the “Best Nightlife Awareness Campaign 2017”, for the joint execution between the city and the sector for the campaign “No Means No” against sexual assaults.
On the other hand, Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel was named the World’s Best Club for the second time, being the most important nightlife award in the listing of The World’s 100 Best Clubs 2017 in which five continents have taken part in, aimed to highlight the best nightlife venues in the world.
Nigeria didn’t make it to the top 100 Night Club list and Shimmy Beach Club, Cape Town, South Africa was the only from Africa.
