Many pupils are feared dead after a four-storey building collapsed in the Ita-Faaji area of Lagos Island on Wednesday morning.
At least 50 children have been rescued from the rubble sustained injuries among the pupils have been taken to the hospital, while many others have been trapped inside.
The building houses a private school, Ohen crèche and primary, as some parents have more than one child, some have two and some up to for kids. One woman is reportedly to have lost five children in the collapse.
A floor in the building is being used as a school and pupils were in their classrooms when the building caved in.
Officials of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) and other rescue official are currently at the scene.
