There has been a series of post on social media platforms in recent times by a couple of photographers in Uyo, who happen to be concerned colleagues of Ms. Umoh Ibanga Ekwere over her plight.
According to reports, the female photographer who does business under the brand name of #RubizVision was robbed at the early part of last year and all her major belongings and photography equipment which include laptop, hard disk, camera and household items were carted away by men of the underworld. This later led to her arrest and humiliation by clients, with various series of threats to get the jobs which was carted away during the incidence.
It is also learnt that Ms. Umoh had to sell off almost all her remaining valuables in a bid to get back to her feet, working from pillar to post, trying to see how she can re-arrange her life but it has seemed so difficult for her.
This is calling on friends and the general public to help this dying dream stay alive by donating cash or needed equipment to get her back on track. All she needs to start her business again are: a photo camera, laptop and a few other camera accessories.
