Security operatives on Monday have sealed up the Asokoro residence of embattled Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Ibe Kachikwu and movement restricted around the premises before a fire outbreak gutted his home on Sunday.
The building which is situated close to a Daar Communicatins office has been a no-go area ever since the outbreak occurred.
According to members of Kachikwu’s home,losses from the fire outbreak have, so far, been minimal.
The fire is said to have particularly affected the Minister’s room although security personnel and those present as at the time of the outbreak responded promptly to quench the fire.
According to heralding, as at press time, there was still a heavy presence of security operatives at the scene particularly policemen.
