IbomFoodFest is a food festival aimed at promoting Akwa Ibom’s rich culinary culture. The event will be offering a full day filled with food, drinks and entertainment. With over 230 cuisines on display, food lovers will experience Akwa Ibom’s hospitable disposition.
The free-to-attend event will take place at Unity Park, Udo Udoma Avenue, Uyo, on Tuesday, 21st September, 2017 by 10am. The event looks to appeal to all ages and tastes with a myriad of food vendors from the 31 LGAs of Akwa Ibom state, to choose from. An exotic Cook book containing the over 200 amazing cuisines from Akwa Ibom will be presented, plus an online edition will be also be unveiled at #IbomFoodFest.
#IbomFoodFest is the 3rd event on the #OrangeSeptember series which is powered Ministry of Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Akwa Ibom State to celebrate its 30th anniversary and to position the it by showcasing the diverse and enigmatic colours of our collective history and identity.
