Justin Gatlin beats Usain Bolt at his last Solo Race

The IAAF World Championships in London has seen the fastest human ever, 8-time Olympic gold medalist, and 11-time world champion Usain Bolt end his career losing his last solo race to 2004 champion, Justin Gatlin.

Bolt came third in 9.95 seconds, equaling his best time for 2017, behind America’s Gatlin who finished in 9.92 seconds, and Christian Coleman, another American who clocked 9.94 seconds to finish second.

This is Gatlin’s second world championship win in 12 years after being banned twice for doping.

The great Jamaican will next week take part in the 4×100 meters relay finals and then retire after the IAAF World Championships in London to what is known as an incomparable career
