Organisers of Cake Eat Show Announce date for 2017 Edition.

After making its debut in 2015, with two successful outings, the ultimate converge of bakers and cake enthusiasts/lovers – Cake Eat Show, a one-day event devoted to the art of cake baking and aesthetics returns for its third edition.

 

The event which is dubbed the bigggest family show out of Akwa Ibom State hopes to be more exciting than the previous ones.

 

Asides from the participating Akwa Ibom based-bakers, this years edition of the event will feature sugar craft exhibitions and sales by 40 top Nigerian bakers from different zones including Port Harcourt, Calabar, Lagos, Abuja, Enugu, and Delta with over 500 cake samples to treat the over 4’000 expected guests to a range of indulgent delights.

 

Other things to look forward are; rare cocktail and smoothies mixes, tasty grills and finger foods will also be on display, as live baking will be done the Cake Faculty and cake auction. The hanging doughnut game for the kids, with a fusion of live music, comedy and dance performances.

 

Special crash classes will be hosted by CEO’s of outstanding cake brands and they include MarqHavens, inbred Creations, Bubble bakes, Cavos Craft, Conspicuous cakes. More so, awards will be given out to several bakers for their outstanding works and contributions to the to the art of cake baking and decorating in Nigeria.

 

Beyond the tasting of a wide variety of cakes and wine samples, the event usually has a charity side which is used to support girl-child education, as the 2016 edition hosted 50 girls between the ages of 5 – 15. This year, the number has been increased to 100 girls, to accomodate more beneficiaries.

 

Organisers have scheduled for the June 16, 2017 and venue remains the prestigious Emerald Event Centre, Edet Akpan Avenue, Uyo.
