During a recent visit to Nigeria’s first capital city, Calabar, gospel music star and ‘Ibaha Siba’ crooner, Freke Umoh traced his

way back to an old house his family lived in which holds lots of memories while growing up at the tender age of 4.
The excited Freke shared a photo of him taking a pose outside the house on Instagram with the following caption:

This is House #6 Atu Lane, off Goldie Street, Calabar, Cross River State. This spot is where my 4th birthday party was celebrated with my twin sister.
This was not the house my parents lived in when we were born but my earliest memory as a human being is this house.
I started preschool from this house, my first words spoken were probably in this house and I most likely took my first steps in this house. In this house, I didn’t have a care in the world! The people who brought me into this world took care of everything I needed.

As I stand here I think about how God never stops being our “Daddy” no matter how old we are. Whenever you feel the pain of a crunching economy just remember your are part of a “house”. Phil4:19 Rom8:37 Matt6:26,32.

Keep going… Keep growing
